Welcome to The Rabbit Council of New Zealand (Inc) Website
SUE DICKENSON is a UK Judge Visiting in March 2012
I've been a member of the BRC for 20 years, based in southern England.
Dwarf Lops, Mini Lops and Thriantas have been my main breeds over the years.
I've always had an interest in colour genetics and specialised in the butterfly pattern in the Lops.
Showing has always been of less interest to me than breeding but have had some success in all 3 breeds.
I spent many years as the secretary of a busy local club and have always enjoyed stewarding and book stewarding.
I started judging over 10 years ago and am now on most of the specialist Lop Panels and the Rare Variety Panels for both Fancy and Fur.
I have achieved 3* status in both Lops and Fancy..
As a judge I always try to be open and fair, always trying to judge to the standards and believe strongly that stock should always be handled kindly.
I'm currently semi-retired from my day job but still enjoy training new teachers in Adult Education.
Best wishes
Sue
